Mom's alliance is dead, Jared. Don't worry about it.

Congrats to Gabe and Brandon for surviving their first tribal councils!
The rookies are entertaining as hell though.

DJ and Brittany self-voted, but it looks like people are under the assumption they were throwaway votes. Andii believes Stephanie voted Brittany so that could lead to a problem down the road. The majority Veteran alliance will officially name themselves soon, looking forward to that! It's still amazes me how people think they can stick together all the way to the final six without turning on each other, optimism at its finest.

Ok so I said I would do a cast ranking at the end of the round. I still haven't read any confessionals from some people, but I will be editing my ranking while going through the journals of people I haven't heard from yet. I also included a Prediction section. Considering we only had 1 round, my predictions are more than likely going to be WAY off, but I thought it would be fun to at least look back on when the game ends. #1) I have talked with Joe for a while now. He is one of very few iSurv1vors I talk to once in a while. Actually, I think he is the only iSurv1vor I talk to lol. For that, my bias forces me to root for him the hardest. I believe he has a strong social game, and more than likely a good strategic game as well, so I think he will do well. Prediction - He will probably make it far and be taken out as a jury threat, but I will make a bold claim and say he actually wins the game - WINNER
#2) I was rooting for Sharonica because I knew she was going to be an underdog, and she is someone I actually tried to work closely with in a Big Brother game a long time ago, just because I knew she was new to those games. I have a heavy heart for players that are really new to these kinds of games, and I always want to be supportive because of them. Eliminated
#3) So I wrote out a quick ranking on Notepad before I even caught up on confessionals, just to have something to work with and edit. I placed Lexi near the bottom just because I didn't know anything about her, as she never updated her confessional, but then she shot right up to #3 after I read her confessionals. Maybe it is the internet geek in me, but I love how I can see the internet speech coming through. She seems like the type of person I would get along with. I lol'd when she said "RIP" to Sherry when Sherry went on about how she didn't have time for the game . And when Sharonica said she was told to vote Lexi, and Lexi was just like "O, well don't do that". I dunno, her responses just really amuse me, so I am rooting for her. Oh yeah, and she apparently is saving quotes, which is what I used to always do ^_^ Prediction - Hard to say, really. I'll just guess - Mid Jury
#4) I probably like her a lot more than she likes me, but whatever. We chat sometimes. She is cute and I know her, so this is kind of a biased ranking. Prediction - I don't think she is in the best position, but I think Veterans are going to win enough challenges that Stephanie will be able to slide further into the game, and once she makes merge, there will be bigger fish to fry. My prediction will rely on her at least being social with everyone, though, during the swap/merge - Late Jury
#5) Since Andii is from the first generation, I have to root for her. #firstgenerationpride. She is just going to be herself and have a good time. Perhaps this will change as the game goes on, and she gets closer to the end. Prediction - Because she is so loveable, people will be afraid of letting her get too close to the end, as she could be a magnet for people to swing to her side - Mid Jury
#6) Helena is BY FAR my favorite person on the Rookie tribe. I think she is really cute, but she also seems like a really cool person as well. She has no experience with these sorts of games, but I think she at least understands the game. She is already in a great position. I personally think she might be in one of the best spots on the tribe, just because how could anyone want to vote out a face like that? Prediction - Already in position to make it to the next stages of the game, and probably not threatening enough in challenges to be taken out early in the merge. She will be - Late Jury
#7) I actually really like Phil so far. He just seems really chillax, and I can appreciate that. Everyone loves a villain, but I also love to have someone who is actually trustworthy and level-headed. Being level-headed, myself, I tend to appreciate those people as well. I think the game started with him not being in the best position, but that position is going to improve unless Ruben manages to make a target out of him. Prediction - I think the toughest part of the game for him will be making it out of the tribal stage. I see Rookies having a difficult time winning challenges, and I don't know how well Phil will be able to position himself. Seeing how chaotic the Rookie tribe is, though, I have a feeling things are going to crack, and Phil's reliable and loyal self is going to be the breathe of fresh air that everyone is gasping for. He will be a loyal ally and make it to the end, but not be seen as a strong enough gamer to be crowned the winner - 3rd Place
#8) So yeah... to me, Ruben came across as some guy who was just extremely paranoid and overplaying at first. That was all based on hearing what others were saying in their confessionals, though. But when Ruben finally made a confessional, I had a bit more respect for him as a player. He ACTUALLY seems like he has a head on his shoulders. He realizes that if you can't beat someone, you have to join them. He is trying to make it to the next stage of the game, whether it be a swap or merge, and he is doing a good job of securing that. I also respect that he trusts someone so much that he is willing to throw his neck out to try to save her. Prediction - Ruben is someone that I could see being eliminated in a swap because of him just coming across as not very trustworthy, but I feel as though he will know when to make a move, and who to approach to do it. He will be the type of player that people won't trust fully, but he will be able to position himself where his vote is needed by everyone. I will make an extremely bold call, and say Ruben makes it to the end, but some of the jurors will be bitter and say he played a sloppy game, while a few respected how hard he played - 2nd place
#9) Scott is in a great position, and should be fine for a while. Swaps are obviously very unpredictable, and maybe he will swap onto a tribe with a Veteran majority, and be seen as the biggest threat to them, but he should be fine for a while aside from that. He is one of the most well liked people in the game right now. Could that bite him in the butt later down the road, though? Prediction - I predict he will make it to the merge, but be seen as one of the bigger Rookie threats once they get there. Will be one of the early targets by the Veteran side - Early Merge
#10) I had no idea who Santiago was, but I recognized that name. He seems like he could be an interesting character in this game, though, after watching his videos. Prediction - The Veteran alliance will eventually crack, and Santiago will either be the one who caused it, or be the first victim of it because people will have a hard time trusting him late-game when he is closer to the money - Mid Merge
#11) People who make video confessionals will probably be higher on my ranking. It's as simple as that. most of the people at the bottom of my ranking have yet to make a video confessional, and it is no coincidence. I like Alexis' alliance with Ruben. They both aren't at the bottom, but they aren't at the top either. it makes them easy to root for because you know they are just fighting to make the next stage of the game, which is very doable, and they could end up stirring things up once they do. Prediction - I have a feeling Rookies are going to suck in challenges, and Alexis is going to fall just short of the swap. Of course, this all depends on when the swap actually is, assuming there is one - Pre-Swap
#12) Ok so I know most people would have ranked Malcolm near the top. Most people will be shocked I have him this low. I was in a group chat with Malcolm for quite a while, and while I can appreciate his character, it is a bit much for me. I think what actually bothered me the most was how he called me out in public, in the Skype call, and told me not to ask him questions about the game. Fuck you, bitch. I was asking you a question I already knew the answer to, just because I was trying to start a conversation. If you had a problem with it, then you should have told me privately. Apparently it is against the rules to ask the players questions anyway, which is kind of weird, but whatever lol. Prediction - He is seen as the head of the snake of the Rookie alliance, and he will be the first one people swing at. I can see Ruben being Malcolm's demise at the swap - Swap-Fucked
#13) Shandy is in a bad spot. She isn't going to last much longer, unless Rookies pull off a miracle and kick veteran ass in the challenges. She seems level-headed to me, though. She knew to back away from Sherry, but unfortunately, that isn;t going to be enough to save her. Prediction - Not long for this game at all - Pre-Swap
#14) If not for her being so hot, she would be ranked much lower. She is the only person to not write a confessional yet, and it sucks. I wanted to root for her so badly, too . I will keep hope alive, though. Prediction - Gone the next time Veterans go to Tribal Council, unless they manage to avoid TC long enough for people to fall in love with her? lol - Pre-Swap
#15) I should honestly rank him last, just because I am the only Taylor that should get any recognition. Jk jk. I think the fact I never really heard from him until I just recently saw a video confessional by him has affected where I ranked him. He sounds like he could end up being a fun villain, so maybe I will rank him higher in time. Prediction - He will barely make the swap, the Rookies will swoon over him, and then he will be a compromise boot early in the merge when Vets agree to spare the Rookies to get rid of Taylor - Early Merge
#16) Gabe seems alright. I don't dislike him at all. I guess I am just neutral with him. Prediction - Early/Mid Merge
#17) Brandon is in a pretty good spot right now, I believe. Don't know what else to say about him lol. Like Gabe, I am neutral on Brandon. Prediction - No fricken idea. I will just throw him in as a swap boot, I guess - Swap-Fucked
#18) Banks has not done a video confessional, so screw him. He is getting ranked low . Plus, his role-playing is kind of weird, tbh. He pretends he is actually on an island when he writes in his confessional, and..... I dunno... it just isn't my thing. He is in a good spot, though. Prediction - Swap-Fucked
#19) Oh Sherry <3. She was obviously a lunatic in this game, and didn't play very well at all, but I love the drama she brought to the game. She helped make it entertaining, so I will at least rank her above a few others. Eliminated
#20) I don't know anything about him. He managed to get himself into a good position, so he must be doing something right. Prediction - Swap-Fucked
#21) Doesn't seem like she knows what she is doing in this game. Prediction - The Veterans will do well in challenges, and only have to vote one person out before the swap (guessing obviously). Brittany will be that vote, and Mandy will squeak into the swap, only to still be useless and get voted out there - Booted at the Swap
#22) She has brought absolutely nothing to the game, but I see she finally wrote a confessional. Maybe we can finally get some thoughts from her, before she is eliminated. Prediction - Pre-Swap

Ok well apparently it is still Episode 1. I guess that makes sense. Perhaps I will change my ranking again before the ACTUAL end of the episode .

Just watched half of the confessionals, need to watch the other half, but this cast is great so far.
I don't love the opening twist, but at least it got things going quicker and got the Rookies playing way too hard way too fast.
LOVE that Greek Isles is repped here. For such an early season, we really do get around. ^_^

Catching up on the confessionals now. Did a few more interviews for pregame tonight, 12 done total, 6 are rookies, 6 are vets.
Glad that Brandon and Gabe both got to beat their goal of not being first boot. I think both of them could go far. Watching/Listening to Andi's confessional now. She is gonna play her normal flirt game I think. It's not really her fault though. She is likable, and she flirts a lot. Gay, or straight haha. It's not really her fault because aside from Lexi, the other females are not very active. (LOL at the list Sandy made for her)
The rookies tribe is still such a mess and I love it. Mac was headstrong for a Shandy vote yesterday and was pretty much saying it had to be done. I'm guessing someone talked to him. He is gonna be a character this season for sure. Suck that Sherry ended up being the boot because she had some great potential!
Sharonica being voted out makes sense, but it also sucked because she DID come around before the vote was due, and I think Gabe and Santiago mentioned that if they waited longer that she would have been useless, but she would have been a vote, where as Brittany and Stephanie hadn't really been around, Brittany even self voted. We will see where its going from here.
(I'm writing this as I listen to confessionals and as thoughts pop into my head, so if this doesn't flow properly, its because it's like you're inside my head right now, and it doesn't flow properly there)
Joe Gonzalez is by far in the best position in this game on his tribe, while Phil is in the best on his (from my perspective at least).
Shandy is observant. Taylor is playing catch up and seems to be doing a good job.
YAY IM ALL CAUGHT UP ON CONFESSIONALS

I was looking forward to seeing Sharonica play, but after she blamed her elimination on people's preconceived notions of her and also on Tucker for making the game start off with an instant vote-off because he "knew she would be out 1st" if he did, I can safely say I am okay with her being gone. I hate when people play the blame game whenever things don't go their way.
On the flip-side, Sherry seems to be taking her elimination pretty well.
