Kopanya is the Botswanian word in the language Tswana for combine. The importance and correlation of this word to the Merge tribe is that the eleven players left in the game have joined together into one tribe after 19 intense days battling with and against each other. Traditional Botswanian warriors are placed on the side to represent the fight and struggle us tribunates have been through this far, and will continue to do. I treated this coat of arms as a mini-research project. I researched as much as possible about the Botswanian culture to make this the most authentic as it could be. After the intense research period, I began to work in Photoshop to craft this creation to represent our new tribe. I wanted to incorporate as much Botswanian culture into this project as possible, and made sure to pay attention to every minute detail. Inside the shield you will see four divided sections. In these sections are traditional quilt designs of the culture. These quilts are hand-crafted and can be seen in the Trout Museum of Art, where Botswana Bounty was exhibited starting in 2013. I hope you enjoy my creation. i.imgur.com/SeFiakQ.jpg
