I'll give this cast props, they worked that last challenge and it was closely fought up until the end but the Rookies were always going to win, their lead was never going to be caught up. I wanted Brittany to be more involved in this season but what can you do? She said she was going to take it the game as it came but forgot about minimal effort, but she's a hot girl with tattoos and that's enough for me at least.

Lots of emerging storylines, Malcolm has villified himself to the Veterans and he's really starting to piss off people in his own alliance (Banks) Santiago has heard rumours of Andii's cheating in previous games and he's going to keep an eye on that and also there's talk of a new alliance with Lexi, Joe, Santi, Mandy & Taylor and essentially disband the Sov 6 but there's a bit of a grey cloud over the future of that alliance regardless. Joe and Taylor are also a locked in duo alliance #TeamToe

Taylor doesn't trust Santiago at all and wants him out before a swap/merge happens. Stephanie has approached Brandon for a pre-jury alliance of those two, Gabe & Taylor which, again, there's a small amount of distrust simply based on perceptions of one another.

With all the fallout of the first challenge, the bitching, moaning, whining, complaining, this challenge should run smoothly I feel. BUT these guys are going to try and find every. possible. loophole. which is great, it keeps hosts on their toes it can just border on the annoying!

Wow, I really thought I would have more to catch up on since I have not been watching confessionals since like tuesday? Needless to say I am all caught up and Brittany's gone, and I am still the reigning Brittany of the series (say what you want Winchurch...).
Steph is having a freak out I guess because she can't do the challenge tomorrow? The counter alliance for sov 6 is called the artists? well thats not the spelling but i can't be bothered lmao. I'm slightly buzzed right now, so I will post a better update tomorrow kthxbai!

Sovereign Six look like they're a one time deal, nobody talks to one another so the resurgence of the proposed five-man alliance could come together. Brandon is wary of Santiago and his history of recording calls but he's not doing that this season so he's going to have to be careful with when he's on calls with the tribe.

Taylor & Lexi have bonded well and solidified it with an alliance, so from here on out they're The Artiiiiiists.

Stephanie feels like she's on the outs and has almost thrown in the towel simply down to her not being able to commit to the challenge as she'd like and as she's second from last she'll be blocking Taylor from contributing. Another predictable boot? Maybe, but the Veterans can't fall on each round having a sacrificial lamb.

Rookies meanwhile are starting to turn somewhat on Shandy. As far as I can tell, the plan could be to spare Susan and boot Shandy as she's rubbing people the wrong way in the same way Malcolm has. Alexis is an interesting player to watch because she's not really exposing her hand and unlike the rest of the tribe that are trying to swing their dicks and asset their place she is happy to sit in the middle and I'm under the impression she is in the best position and not Helena. Ruben has cited Shandy is condesending in group chats, Alexis doesn't buy Scott always being positive and happy... they're a world away from the original Kecak Rookies.

Oh, Scott has wrote iSurv1vor erotica... it's dreadful and readily available in his journal if y'all want a giggle.

So sad to see Purple Kelly go last round

So far I am having deja vu with this vets tribe. They lost and look like they are in no way going to be able to improve their immediate situation just yet. They are plagued by inactivity, which was a huge factor in the first veteran tribe of Negara being so drastically unsuccessful. Their only saving grace later in the game may arrive in the form of a tribe swap or the fact that this crop of rookies is more fractured than Kecak ever was.

The Scott and Santiago aka Jacob aka Lenny romance is cute and all (minus the amateur smut entries), but they are interesting characters and I want them to focus just a tiny bit more on the game.

Veterans just lost immunity again and will be going to tribal council. Sad that it will probably yet again be a predictable boot. I'm ready for some drama in this game aside from Mac bossing people around.

Also a massive groan goes out to Joe for harping on about the "flag" typo that I made (yes that was I). I muscle memory'd "flag" when typing my critique for them instead of saying mask because... it was basically a flag making challenge, no? Just like how coconut chop challenges don't involve chopping coconuts 99% of the time; it's just a "type" of challenge.

Scott showed Santiago their mask, he then showed Joe and Lexi and they had a real good laugh about it. No big deal, right? Fast forward to Rookies post-challenge and Mac is absolutely sure that someone from their side leaked the mask, Ruben tried to put it down to coincidence and although Mac isn't appearing to be putting on the tin foil hat, he has assured in their group chat that he will find out the culprit.

Banks and Shandy have formed an alliance, looks as though they're going to go after DJ/Helena to weaken Malcolm. Banks doesn't want to be aligned with somebody (DJ) that he doesn't even talk too. Tharrrrr be some shenanigans afoot!

No word yet regarding Veterans boot, Stephanie might be in danger though and she might be campaigning against Andii. Put your money on a woman leaving.

I will say I am way more impressed with Lexi this time around compared to her stunt in India.

I NEED Andii to stay in this for a bit longer, she can't waste her return!

From reading post results videos and stuff, I legit have no idea who is leaving just yet.

Stephanie targeting Mandy is so stupid. Stephanie doesn't really see the dynamics on her tribe, and targeting Mandy proves it.

I love that Mandy is changing so many people's first impressions. She is adapting well to the new generations game style, and I find it so fun watching her mingle with her tribe. She's doing great.

Lexi is safe today I think, as is Brandon.

No one really trusts Taylor.

People mistrust Gabe, not sure how solid he is with anyone other than Joe at this point.

Everyone trusts Joe.

Andii was solid at the start, and unlike Mandy her first impressions are changing for the worse.

Santi is a strong tribemate but too many people mistrust him. A Santi vote off would be awesome, but would really cripple the vets.

Prediction: Steph gets the boot.
