Our tribal war mask represents our tribe, Okavango, named after the largest delta in the Africa. By incorporating both our tribe color (purple) and the color blue, we pay homage to our traditional colors and to the watery delta that surrounds us.
We are a tribe determined to succeed, our fight in this game represented by the war paint - using red tones we allude to the fire in us to win. The red represents not only our anger from losing the previous challenge, but also the blood of the enemy team which we'll proudly wear on our faces as a trophy of our win.
Birds symbolize freedom and their ability to soar high, with our feathers we express our plans to soar above our competition. Each feather has one of our faces on it, we are gladiators. Whilst wearing our Okavango war mask in battle, the feathers remind us in the face of peril and fear, that we are never alone - our tribe mates are always with us.
