Alright, I'm going to make my commentary videos for the episode two, which is where we said goodbye to Stephanie, and quick Episode three where Susan was removed because of personal IRL issues.
We start Episode four with 9 rookies and 8 vets remaining. The new challenge is the iS version of 2 truths, 1 lie. Scott is sitting out.
Shandy and Banks have bonded tightly. They are a strong twosome who have tried to pull in Scott, Ruben, and Alexis - to vote out DJ, Mac's right hand man. They have approached Phil, but they feel, with good reason, that Phil is too glued to team Mac right now. Ruben is hesitant to stick with Banks and Shandy because he now realizes how hated Mac is all around in the game and how valuable he could be in a finals scenario.
Helena seems to be blindly sticking with Mac, no real further gameplan right now, same with DJ.
Ruben and Alexis are seemingly a duo, and we'll see where they fall if the Rookies lose this challenge.
Earlier today Shandy had an explosion on Phil and Mac.. not really sure what went down yet but it was big he/she said situation where in the end Scott was blamed for telling her information. Mac confronted Scott on call with Phil, Alexis, and Ruben present. And then bitched about it again on a tribe call with Phil, DJ, and Helena.
On the vets a new power alliance seems to have formed with Joe, Santiago, Lexi, Mandy, and Taylor. I'm not sure how solid it is because we've yet to see this alliance at a vote - but honestly have feelings that this is a core five. Andii, Brandon, and Gabe have been dropped..Santi, Joe, and Lexi, have moved on.
Let's see what else happens?

Mac was so entertaining to me at first. He kept talking about how he'd go after bitches if they pissed him off and everyone on the tribe was so overwhelmed by his drama. Now he is just annoying, like Shahbaz. He has got a few people to trust him, so I don't know why he doesn't just tone it down and work with that.
The Sov Six is hilariously self-destructive. Almost all of them mentioned in their videos who among them would go first out of that group. It's funny to me because in a solid alliance that shouldn't technically happen till ayyyyyy later in the game, and even then you'd start planning it at merge or F9, or even 7. Gabe and Joe were names so far that were mentioned. There are still other people on the tribe.
Still rooting for Phil, since I am friends with him, but also because he seems very aware of his position and who it's necessary to talk more or less with at any time. I don't know him to have been a huge Skyper in past games so he is doing well.
I am not sure of what I think of Shandy. She is polarizing on her tribe and I love that, and want to hear from her about what she thinks is going on, but she isn't posting enough for me to get a hold on it, and round to round peoples' opinions change. At least mine usually do.

Sov 6 just sucked plain and simple, this new alliance of five is perfect for me so Andii, Brandon and Gabe better grab a lifevest!
Malcolm is such a point of contention, I'd be less concerned about him if he didn't project his hybrid ignorance/idiocy onto Sandy, Brittany and I when we're overseeing the game. The Rookies are just... I can't even comprehend them, thinking about them gives me a headache.
Shandy is a great character though, she is very passionate about playing and yeah sometimes it comes across as a big holier than thou but she means well the others can see it. Phil is still weighting the tribe down, I'm really starting to feel sorry for him in terms of how he is viewing this game because Rookies as much as they're probably one of the more unique tribes we've had in recent memory they just aren't fun to be around.

Eh I'm not sure I agree with that. I think it's best to start thinking about that earlier rather than later. I think it's pretty damaging to spend the first half of the game in an alliance and not build lasting strategic bonds within subgroups of that alliance, because someone will do it and that person is likely the one that is going to be successful. I typically always know who I want gone first from my alliance, or I at least contemplate it because you never know what's going to happen down the road.

Mac is currently on his last strike. He's been reemed out by Sandy a few times already. The problem is Mac keeps trying to pass off his passive aggressive comments, or complaints as a joke, and acts like we're the ones that either don't understand him, or don't have a sense of humour. Hopefully for his part, and for the game, he will learn and play the game instead of trying to play boot camp leader with attitude.
As for this challenge, DJ did not submit his videos so the veterans start off with an automatic point, so if the rookies are unable to decipher even one of the lies, veterans win. Rob said something about Mac quitting if they lose? Why, I'm not sure, rob will have to fill y'all in on that. I think DJ would be an easy vote for some as I know Banks/Shandy want to take out Mac's pocket buddy DJ, and DJ not submitting his videos, and already having a self vote will make him an easy target. If the vets lose, I don't even know who would go.

Mac is making this game enjoyable. He's nuts, but he's entertaining, dramatic, and completely controlling these fools. I also adore Helena. Her journals are amazing. She's queen.
Shandy's journals sparks me as someone I could never get along with. She seems weird with a few screws loose, but she's pretty! However, the way people say she speaks to Helena makes me cringe because IMO, Helena is more of a woman than Shandy is. Armpit hair, belches, and all.
I need to learn more about the Vets though... I gotta take a look to see what's happening over there.

Hey roomie.
I was aroun for that armpit comment Shandy made to Helena. I think it's age / generation gap. But to ask it str8 away on a tribe call like that is r ud e

King Mac has had it's legendary days, but I get a strange feeling that his time might be coming sooner than expected. Because he does have the personality that can annoy people the longer that he's in the game.
I am cheering for the #SOV6. I hope it pulls through, Also Brandon keep working the game you're doing just fine.

Joe, Lexi and Santi formed a new deal with Taylor and Mandy which is great and loving that the first boots and the 4-timer are on the outs.
Conversation in both camps have gone quiet, Veterans aren't as chatty and the Rookies are enjoying a day off. Next round will be interesting though.

Man, I feel really bad for Gabe. He got waaay too cocky for his own good, but the feelings are real in his emotional confessional. I am a little concerned by how hard he is taking it in the spectrum of his self-worth as a whole. I know it sucks and I feel for him, but he needs some perspective on how important an online game is in the grand scheme of his life. Maybe he should go outside and kick a ball for a little while. There are worse things than being voted out of an internet game twice.
Personally, if I were in the game, I would swing for a Brandon blindside. The names being tossed around are Gabe, Brandon or Taylor. All three are super cocky, but only Taylor and Gabe are cocky to the point of being transparent. Brandon is more of an enigma than those two and right now when everyone is expecting a tribe shuffle, is the perfect time. Another person who would be on my radar is Joe, but at this stage of the game he is too smooth and too connected.
So far it looks like Gabe is a goner, but I do hope he can pull off a Houdini move.

Gabe's main issue is that he doesn't seem sufficiently wary of everyone when he plays and trusts too easily. I think it's okay to trust ONE person fully and suspect everyone of being your enemy.
I certainly can't fault him for crying as I've cried in iSurv1vor (I'M SORRY JERMAINE). But I'm sure he'll have future opportunities. If HLC can muscle her way into an All Stars game despite having no redeeming strategic value whatsoever then so can he!
